ghosttown
the walls between worlds was thin
while what-might-have-beens
spoke in quiet voices in the wind
that wrapped around revenant hills
burned brown beneath a desert sun
while what-might-have-beens
and the never-weres drift forgotten
through ramshackle ghost-town
burned brown beneath a desert sun
clinging to dreams never-found
wraiths lurking in the shadows
through ramshackle ghost-town
with its timber bones exposed
a faded memory like a specter
wraiths lurking in the shadows
in limbo, waiting for times better
the walls between worlds was thin,
a faded memory like a specter
spoke in quiet voices in the wind
